For one of my book series I wanted to do a craft element so I was browsing different sites to get some inspiration. I found http://frecklednest.typepad.com/la/2011/10/hand_stitch_your_own_pattern_part_1.html
Which had this idea of incorporating your handwriting by using sewing to do so. I think it's pretty neat so I want to sew either an image or text by sewing it on a page.
Other semi-related news....
I've been wanting to silkscreen on t-shirts for awhile now. I have a bunch of ideas but never got the time to do so. But over this past weekend I started designing what I wanted on a shirt. So I found a popular image of Bob Dylan by Milton Glaser and photoshopped it to be black and white. After I print the t-shirt design I want to incorporate in in John's book because he is a huge fan of his music. Another idea I was going to do was make a John and Yoko poster because that also relate to our relationship.
